Hey, you.

Welcome. You’ve come to a place where you can learn about sexuality without shame, embarrassment or awkwardness.

Few adults can look back and say their sexuality education growing up was comprehensive, affirming, science-based and pleasure-focused. Many can recall health class images meant to repulse, scornful words or punishments, fear instilled from a religious institution, or simply…silence. Others remember awkward conversations with parents, confusion and embarrassment around bodily functions and shame about desires that were completely normal.

Some would go on to inform their sexuality through peeks at an article in their mother’s Cosmopolitan magazines, adult content (either stumbled upon from a relative’s secret stash or typed into an internet search field), gossip and rumors from peers, or blindly fumbling into their own firsthand experiences.

But what happens now, once we’re all grown up? Who teaches us about sex after we’ve already had quite a bit of it ourselves, gotten married or become parents? What happens when we uncover new desires or realize we no longer like the sex we’re having in a long-term relationship? Who do we turn to when our own children start asking us questions we’re too uncomfortable to answer? The internet can be a confusing place, full of misinformation, making credibility hard to verify.

I believe I can help. I’m here to write clear, comprehensive sexuality education articles, informed by my own training and teaching experience, as well as the insights of doctors and other field experts who share from their own vast knowledge.

Some things I am:

  • A queer, multiracial person who uses she/her pronouns

  • An experienced health, sex and relationship coach

  • A certified facilitator for the Our Whole Lives sexuality education program

  • A pregnancy loss and abortion doula, trained through Colorado Doula Project

  • An overall nerd about sexuality, pleasure and communication (and many other fandoms)

Things I’m not:

  • A doctor

  • A therapist or psychologist

  • The absolute authority on any subject or experience

My commitments to you:

  • My writing will be inclusive and affirming, and I will strive to amplify voices from those who have lived experiences different from my own.

  • My articles will include clearly written information and insights from credible field experts. I will stay in my lane as an educator, writer and facilitator.

  • While I have paid options for bonus content, my monthly articles will remain free and accessible to all.

So, let’s all learn together.
